Our story
Pressing the culture forward, one night at a time.
For The Record Live was born on the South Side — an answer to quiet nights and empty storefront stages. We believe live music is a vessel for consciousness: every set a conversation, every verse a reckoning, every room a gathering of minds.
From basement venues to neighborhood theaters, we bring artists and community into the same intimate frame — recording the conversation, pressing the night into something you can hold. It's about raising the consciousness of the block, the borough, and the city, one record at a time.
